Tutor-Saliba has over 50 years of public and private experience satisfying owners with projects completed on time, within budget, and at approved levels of quality. We have developed one of the industry's largest organizations in size and a reputation for quality performance in the areas of major building and heavy civil construction.
We excel in the construction of some of the largest and most complicated building projects in the country. Nearly all of these projects were constructed in an urban environment, on extremely tight sites, and with some of the most sophisticated and complex systems and equipment. The wide variety of building projects include landside aviation, health care, education, municipal, commercial, and entertainment facilities such as sports venues and convention centers.
Major building projects we have undertaken include the $1.1 billion San Francisco International Airport Reconstruction involving the construction of International Terminal, South International Parking Garage, Consolidated Rental Car Center, Boarding Area G, Airport Rail Transit Guideway, ART West Guideway, and Concourse H/ART Station; $600 million UCLA Westwood Replacement Hospital a new 1,200,000-square-foot acute care facility located on the Westwood campus; $190 million UCLA Santa Monica Hospital a new 270-bed hospital with 52 beds designated for inpatient orthopaedic care; $144 million San Diego Convention Center a 1.7 million-square-foot, world-class convention center; $135 million Los Angeles Central Library involving a major renovation and addition to this historic downtown structure; and the $110 million Moscone Convention Center Expansion adding 440,000 square feet of new exhibit and public spaces.
